Terms and Conditions

This Claims Service Survey ("the Survey") is organised by Berjaya Sompo Insurance Berhad ("BSIB") for its selected Motor Policyholders. By participating in the Survey with BSIB, you will stand a chance to receive a KFC Voucher. Please read the following terms and conditions before participating in the Survey:-

A. Terms of participation

1) Participation is by invitation only via SMS by BSIB.

2) The participant shall read the Terms and Conditions stipulated in the Survey before completing the Survey.

3) By participating in the Survey, the participant agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Survey and the decisions of BSIB.

4) To participate in the Survey, the participant must provide his / her response within 7 days from the date of receipt of the invitation SMS from BSIB.

B. Conduct of the Draw

1) Twenty-Five (25) winners will be randomly selected ("the Draw") in each month from the Survey responses received in the particular month.

C. Prize and Winner

1) Each winner will receive a KFC voucher worth Ringgit Malaysia Twenty (RM20) ("the Prize").

2) BSIB will send the Prize to the winner at his/her residential address stated in his/her motor policy by registered mail.

3) If any prize remains unclaimed for sixty (60) days after the relevant date of the Draw, it will be forfeited (without any liability on the part of BSIB). The winner whose prize has been forfeited is not entitled to any payment or compensation whatsoever from BSIB.

4) BSIB shall not be liable for any default in respect of the Survey due to any Act of God, war, riot, strike, industrial action, flood, fire, technical or system failures or any other unforeseen circumstances by BSIB.

5) Winner(s) shall accept the Prize on "as is" basis. BSIB gives no representation or warranty whatsoever as to the quality, merchantability or fitness for purpose or any other implied terms or conditions with respect to any prize.

6) BSIB shall not at any time be responsible or held liable for any defect or malfunction in any prize, and/or for any loss, injury, damage or harm suffered or incurred by or in connection with the use of any prize by any person.

7) The prize is neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash, credits or otherwise. All prizes are also subject to the terms and conditions accompanying them (if any).

8) BSIB reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at its discretion at any time, without notice or assigning any reason. However, any changes may be indicated in the BSIB’s corporate website as BSIB sees fit. This includes replacing or substituting the Prize pursuant to the Draw with any other prize of equal or similar value selected by BSIB.

D. General

1) The winner shall not be entitled to claim for any compensation from BSIB for any losses and damages suffered or incurred due to any amendments, alterations or modifications of the Terms and Conditions of the Survey, including cancellation or termination of the Survey. BSIB shall not be liable for any representations, injuries, losses or damages incurred directly or indirectly by the winner due to the winner's participation in the Survey and/or any omission by BSIB.

2) BSIB shall have the discretion to disqualify any participant(s) from participating in the Survey if it finds or determines that the said participant has provided untrue information during the entry process or throughout the Survey period.

3) BSIB's decision on all matters relating to the Survey shall be final and binding on all participants and no appeal on its decision will be entertained.

5) These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.

6) In the event of any inconsistency between terms and conditions and any provisions and/or representations contained in any other promotional materials or communications relating to the Survey, the provisions under these Terms and Conditions of the Survey shall prevail.

7) BSIB shall not disclose any personal information of the Participant other than for the purposes mentioned under these Terms and Conditions.

9) Participation of the Survey shall be deemed as an agreement by the participant to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
